ポルノ、フェチ、もしくは観劇といった「大人の戯れ」の根底にはきっと「のぞき見したい」という気持ちがあります。この作品では、のぞき見主義についてフェミニストの視点から考えるだけでなく、踊ることで他者の視線をひたすら浴びる人間の、動物的な自己放棄と身体的なもろさを暴くことで、一方的なのぞき見を超えたものを探っていきます。

『ASOBI』はダンサーの秘め事をのぞく窓だ。伊藤郁女は彼女自身だけでなく、観客についても語っている。私たちの自由は保護観察下にあり、こちらがいつ捕らえられてもおかしくないのだ。
