Kaori Ito, la vie au présent

Kaori Ito, la vie au présent

A film by Julien Vivante

Between January 2017 and February 2019, during her “Quarte blanche” at the Triton, Kaori Ito met improvising musicians of the French jazz scene, brilliant artists and faithful companions of the Triton. With successively Médéric Collignon, Émile Parisien, Elise Caron, Théo Ceccaldi and Thomas de Pourquery, she experimented with all the range of possibilities offered by a totally improvised encounter between dance and music. The most beautiful moments experienced by the artists and the audience during these five nights were captured and assembled in this documentary film.
